Cult director Doris Wishman's began her career making nudist camp films and progressed through all manner of exploitation cinema, releasing such films as Nudes on the Moon, Bad Girls Go to Hell and A Taste of Her Flesh. For some twenty years she has been off the screen and in 2001 at the age of eight she returns with Satan was a Lady.

Cleo (Honey Lauren) is a dangerous stripper who will do anything to get what she believes she deserves from life and regularly uses blackmail and threats to get quick results. She blackmails a wealthy businessman (to whom she has given a wild whipping) for a large sum of money, but loses it all to her self obsessed boyfriend's gambling problem. Frustrated by her lifestyle and the downward spiral she seems to be in, she decides to go after the rather intellectually challenged son of her blackmail victim. However, things don’t turn out as she had planned as she finds herself falling in love…

This is a classic exploitation tale of sex, comedy, prostitution, violence and the unconscious desires which drive us all. Helped along with generous helpings of nudity and a rather groovy lounge soundtrack this is a great come-back film from “the lady of exploitation” herself.
