This is the first issue of Morpheus Tales and boy, it certainly goes off with a bang. It is nicely produced, packed with a range of genre fiction and illustrated with superb dark art. What I am especially impressed with is the range of fiction, Morpheus Tales seems to aim to cross boundaries and hence includes not only horror, fantasy and science fiction but strange and unusual stories which are hard to classify. All the tales are top notch, indeed I cannot think of one I did not like !

Also included is some non fiction, in this issue this was an extensive interview with Joseph D’Lacey the author of Meat and various reviews.

The aim is to produce this magazine quarterly and I sure hope they get to do so. I believe it could become of major significance within the independent genre fiction field !
