Love Camp 7

R4 DVD

While Ilsa She Wolf of the S.S. is seen as the most notorious of the Nazi exploitation films, a serious contender is Love Camp 7. While originally only available on video and seriously cut, having been banned in the UK and Australia for some years, the present release from Siren includes the full 95 minutes. Produced by Bob Cresse and David F. Friedman, two veteran exploitation film makers Love Camp 7 takes things to a new level.

Two WAC officers attempt to infiltrate the compound and rescue the female scientist being tortured there to gain information about secret war developments. Along the way they experience all manner of degradation, violence and sexual exploitation. While perhaps not as violent as Ilsa She Wolf or as sexually explicit as Salon Kitty by Tinto Brass, the lesbian, S & M and orgy sequences are produced to shock and certainly do the job.

This was one of the original “video nasties” and certainly makes a powerful debut on Australian DVD.
