This is quite an
intriguing and at times moving album. It has been called “gothtronic”
music and combines a strong retro 80s sound with an impressive electronic beat.
The vocals are cold and melancholic, the electro ranges from techno pop through
to minimalist and the arrangements evoke a dark and foreboding sense of the
gothic. It has been quite a success on the dance circuit due to it have some
resonances with Softcell and New Order, yet at the
same still being innovative and modern. Retro 80’s meets electro dace and
gothic sounds.
A unique and
impressive combination.
