This funny and enchanting tale is based on the classic children’s books by Margaret and H.A Rey, movie watchers will discover how George first met The Man with the Yellow Hat and ended up following him to the big city.

When museum guide Ted (voiced by Will Ferrell) journeys to the African jungle to find an artefact that will save the museum where he works from closing, he meets Curious George, the pint-sized chimp with insatiable curiosity.

Having found a new playmate, George stows away on the boat that takes Ted back home. Once they are re-united in the big city, George throws a monkey-wrench in the works when his antics get his new friend fired. But the duo work together not only to save the museum, but also to win the heart of a lovely school teacher (Drew Barrymore).

Also lending their voices to this lovable film are the legendary Joan Plowright (101 Dalmations) and Dick Van Dyke (Mary Poppins).

Red-hot recording artist Jack Johnson (albums In Between Dreams, Brushfire Fairytales) writes and performs his own songs written specifically for the film, putting into words and music the thoughts and feelings of George.

Kids will also go bananas over the range of Curious George merchandise, including toys and storybooks, which will make the perfect Christmas gift for little ones.
